Chimichurri Sauce

Chimichurri is a bright green herb sauce that originated in Argentina as a condiment for grilled meats. Today it’s turning up on menus all across America. Ours is a vibrant blend of parsley, lime, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro and spices.

It’s a colorful and flavor-packed finishing sauce for grilled steaks and chops, and it’s also an excellent marinade and ingredient for other applications:

  • Ready to use as a sauce or drizzle for grilled meats, fish tacos, shrimp, French fries and more
  • Use as a marinade for meat, chicken or seafood before grilling, roasting or sautéing
  • Make spreads and condiments for sandwiches, tacos, burritos, burgers and more by blending with mayonnaise, sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Add to salad dressings and vinaigrettes for vibrant salads
  • Mix into pasta or grain bowls with vegetables
  • Use as a pizza sauce or finishing condiment for on-trend pizzas and flatbreads
  • Mix with olive oil to thin chimichurri into a drizzle for soups, salads, grilled meats, ad flatbreads

Use arugula as your base and add grilled salmon, mixed grains (we used a blend of couscous, quinoa, orzo pasta), black beans, roasted corn, pickled red onions, queso fresco and finish with a drizzle of Chimichurri Sauce, or try blending garbanzo beans with Armanino Chimichurri sauce to use as a dressing.

Our Argentinian style Chimichurri Sauce is loaded with fresh herbs, balanced with a dash of lime juice and a kick of jalapenos to finish it off. It’s delicious with seafood.
