Armanino pestos have set the standard in foodservice for decades. Our classic Basil Pesto combines the bold flavors of fresh basil, Parmesan and garlic in a bright green, perfectly balanced sauce you’ll be proud to serve and use back-of-house as an ingredient.

Our Basil Pesto is ready to use “straight-up” tossed with fettuccine or other noodles to make a classic pasta al pesto. But that’s just the beginning. It’s a hard-working flavor-starter you can turn to again and again as a base for your own signature sauces, dressings and preparations.

  • Add cream or other ingredients to create custom pasta sauces
  • Blend with mayo, Greek-style yogurt, sour cream or other ingredients to make spreads and condiments for sandwiches, burgers and crostini
  • Add to vinaigrettes and other dressings to add bold flavor and fresh visual appeal

Roasted Turkey Wrap with Basil Pesto

Spread Armanino Basil Pesto on your favorite tortilla and wrap roast turkey, roasted butternut squash, Napa cabbage, almonds, dried cherries and goat cheese.

Grilled Baby Yukon Gold Potato Salad

Combine grilled baby Yukon gold and asparagus with wilted greens and dress with a drizzle of Basil Pesto.

Fried Gnocchi

Fry Gnocchi until crisp and add a dollop of fresh whole milk ricotta, EVOO and a drizzle of Armanino Basil Pesto.

Mediterranean Bowl with Basil Pesto

Toss baby romaine lettuces, balsamic vinaigrette, crispy Persian cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, Nicoise olives, salami, grilled chicken breast and orzo pasta with Armanino Basil Pesto. Finish with a final drizzle of Armanino Basil Pesto.

Marinated Heirloom Tomato & Goat Cheese Sandwich

Marinate heirloom tomatoes in EVOO and Basil Pesto. Toast slices of sourdough and top with goat cheese, lettuce and tomatoes for a delicious vegetarian sandwich.

Fried Egg Veggie Sandwich

Toast 2 slices of sourdough bread, spread each side with Basil Pesto, mash on 1/4 of a ripe avocado, add lightly sauteed kale, red onions, yellow tomato slices, fresh mozzarella, and 2 fried eggs.
