Our Basil Pesto is ready to use “straight-up” tossed with fettuccine or other noodles to make a classic pasta al pesto. But that’s just the beginning. It’s a hard-working flavor-starter you can turn to again and again as a base for your own signature sauces, dressings and preparations.

  • Add cream or other ingredients to create custom pasta sauces
  • Blend with mayo, Greek-style yogurt, sour cream or other ingredients to make spreads and condiments for sandwiches, burgers and crostini
  • Add to vinaigrettes and other dressings to add bold flavor and fresh visual appeal

Breakfast Piadina with Basil Pesto

Try this traditional Italian flatbread dish. Make a 1 egg omelet to start and put into a warm flatbread or tortilla and top with fresh spinach, fresh mozzarella, roasted tomatoes and finish with Basil Pesto.

Tomato Soup

Finish tomato soup with croutons and drizzle of Basil pesto. We think tomatoes and Basil Pesto go together like peas and carrots!

Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich

Spread a creamy Basil Pesto aioli on lightly toasted ciabatta bread and top with lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, slices of fresh mozzarella cheese.

Falafel Bowl

On a bed of spinach dressed with oil and vinegar, add falafel patties, roasted cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, Basil Pesto marinated feta cheese, Kalamata olives, spinach and a dollup hummus.

Roasted Veggie Salad with Basil Pesto Drizzle

Roast veggies, such as beets, parsnips, carrots and tomatoes, and toss with a little sea salt and olive oil in the oven until tender. Serve roasted veggies over baby greens tossed with salt, EVOO and balsamic vinegar, then finish with shavings of parmesan and Armanino Basil Pesto.

Puff Pastry Wrapped Brie

Place brie wheel on rolled-out puff pastry, and top brie with Armanino Basil Pesto. Wrap brie with puff pastry and bake till golden and soft. Top with a drizzle of Basil Pesto.
